I'm very easygoing and have a good sense of humor. I'm happy to chat, do chores, assist with personal care, medication management, meal prep, hospital appointments, attending activities, or going shopping—all within reason. I pride myself on being reliable and hardworking. I enjoy engaging with clients, hearing stories from their younger days, or how they met their partners.
My experience includes catheter care, especially as my husband has had periods of needing one, along with work with various clients. I've worked extensively with dementia patients in both early and late stages, providing overnight stays so families can rest. I’ve also offered end-of-life care and liaised closely with medical teams involved in clients' care.
I've provided cover for live-in carers, ensuring their clients have their daily breaks. Additionally, I have experience with helping clients hoisted in and out of bed or chairs. I drive and have my own transport, so I’m happy to travel.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and watching TV.
