With over thirty years of experience in social care, I bring a wealth of expertise to my work. My career began as a carer, after which I established and managed my own company for twenty-four years. Caring for others has been the cornerstone of my professional life, and following my retirement from administrative responsibilities, I have relished the opportunity to return to direct client engagement. Throughout my tenure as a business owner, I maintained active involvement with my clients, regularly undertaking shifts alongside my staff to remain connected to those under our care. I have extensive experience supporting individuals living with dementia, complex care needs, and those requiring end-of-life care. In addition, I am proficient in personal grooming and take pride in assisting clients to look and feel their best. My skills include supporting clients with personal care, nutrition, meal preparation, household maintenance, and administrative tasks. I hold a full, clean driving licence and enjoy facilitating shopping trips, recreational outings, and opportunities for social engagement. In my personal time, I enjoy walking with my three dogs, gardening, and cooking, with a particular passion for baking.     Excellent

    Zillah helped us short term with my father whilst my mother was recovering from pneumonia. Zillah came and took my father out for a couple of hours on various occasions. As my mum is my dads only carer it was imperative to give her a break whilst recovering. Zillah is great fun which my dad loved but also caring and extremely capable of taking care of dad. His mobility is not very good and he uses a wheelchair which Zillah took in her stride. We cannot recommend Zillah highly enough.

    Zillah is very professional and put us all at ease when Mum came home from hospital. She has the perfect combination of experience and a light hearted approach to care that fits in with family .You can relax in the knowledge that your family member is getting the best care possible. Can't recommend highly enough.
