I have 30 years’ experience working in care. I began as a carer and went on to establish my own company, which I ran successfully for 24 years. Caring for and about people has been my whole working life and, having retired from the administrative side of care, I am enjoying working with people again. Whilst running my company I made sure I kept in touch with my clients and “kept my hand in”, by working shifts alongside my staff. I have worked with people with dementia and other chronic conditions and I have provided end of life care. I am experienced in personal grooming and I enjoy helping clients look their best. I can assist with hygiene, toileting, eating, cooking, cleaning and any administrative tasks which need support. I have a full clean driving license and enjoy taking clients shopping, activities and to meet friends In my spare time, I love walking with my 3 dogs, working in my garden and cooking, particularly baking. Zillah helped us short term with my father whilst my mother was recovering from pneumonia. Zillah came and took my father out for a couple of hours on various occasions. As my mum is my dads only carer it was imperative to give her a break whilst recovering. Zillah is great fun which my dad loved but also caring and extremely capable of taking care of dad. His mobility is not very good and he uses a wheelchair which Zillah took in her stride. We cannot recommend Zillah highly enough.

Zillah is very professional and put us all at ease when Mum came home from hospital. She has the perfect combination of experience and a light hearted approach to care that fits in with family .You can relax in the knowledge that your family member is getting the best care possible. Can't recommend highly enough.
