I started in community care and then moved on to private care, where I looked after an elderly lady in her home. I was with her until she passed away. I absolutely love my work, which may include personal care, medication management, appointments, cooking, cleaning, or simply chatting. I am confident in all aspects of my work and have a very caring, sensitive nature. I enjoy spending time with my dogs, gardening, and drawing, although I am not particularly skilled at the latter; I still give it a go. I have worked with many service users with different disabilities, helping them to lead a fun, positive life. I do not provide live-in care, but if the need arises, I can occasionally stay over.
