I love being able to support people in their lives, keeping them as independent as possible and having such an important role in someone’s life. It’s an honour, really. I am a naturally caring and compassionate person. I ensure all of my clients are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and choice, and that the person I am supporting is in control of their care. Whether that involves personal care, helping you wash your hair, going to the garden to admire the lovely plants, enjoying a cup of tea, or simply being there for companionship. I have worked as a support worker for people with learning disabilities, helping them in the community and assisting them in achieving their goals and aspirations. My previous role was as a senior rapid responder for carers in the community. In this role, we also supported patients after they had been admitted to hospital. Whether it’s support for yourself or your loved one, please know they will be in kind, safe hands, and I will do my very best to ensure they have the best day in my company. I value every single person I meet. I am based in Whittlesey, so anything outside of Whittlesey would be 3+ hours away.
