I have 1 year experience with dementia and end of live, involving all aspects of care.
1 year experience as a support worker working with additional needs, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and individuals with Down’s syndrome, involving all aspects of care and day to day life as a live in support from morning to bed time, including sleep shifts.
2 years support worker for adult and elderly individuals in their own homes, involving any support needed whether it be domestic or personal care, due to this role I have become very good at cooking and do really enjoy doing so. Mostly involving tea time, bed time and sleeping nights or waking nights.
I have 3 years experience with supporting individuals with mental health, autism and LD, including additional complex needs. I am currently a specialized autism support worker.
I have full training from person centered planning, active support, safeguarding, moving and handling, first aid, food hygiene/safety, medication administration, and many more, to more complex training such as pathological demand avoidance, bipolar, stoma and catheter care, I can provide certificates for any training required, involving care and support.
I am fully COVID vaccinated, including all boosters to date.
I am able to cook most meals, I absolutely love cooking healthy, balanced and nutritious meals, I’m happy to cook anything, for any individuals I’m supporting.
** minimum length of support visit is 2 hrs. **
I will charge Time + 1/2 on bank holidays. I currently work 9am-5pm Monday to Friday however, I’d love to help out before work, after work or/and on weekends so, Please feel free to send me a message for any more information and I will get back to you ASAP.
