I began my career in health and social care many years ago, and I am an experienced carer in all aspects of care. I am professional, compassionate, and driven. I strongly believe in taking a holistic approach when caring for individuals; I also believe that care should be person-centred and unique to each and every person. It is important that each individual is included in the decisions being made about their care, with their likes, dislikes, and preferences being paramount when implementing their care plan. In my previous employment, my role as a Care Coordinator involved creating care plans and implementing them to the highest standard. As a Care Coordinator, I also communicated with other multidisciplinary agencies to keep the client safe and to ensure they received the highest standard of quality care and support, always promoting independence whenever possible while ensuring the client feels respected and dignified.
