I strongly believe in taking a holistic approach when caring for individuals, I also believe that care should be person centred and unique to each and every person. I believe it is important that each and every individual is included in the decisions being made about their care and their likes, dislikes and preferences and are first and foremost when implementing their care plan. In my previous employment my role as a care coordinator involved creating care plans, and implementing the care plans to the highest standard. As care coordinator I also communicated with other multidisciplinary agencies to keep the client safe, but to also make sure they received the highest standard of quality care and support making sure to always promote independence when able and making sure the client always feels respected and dignified.
