I am available t...More I have worked as a Carer and Support Worker in care homes, residential homes, and supported living establishments, and then as a Domiciliary Carer for over nine years in total. I initially entered the care sector, left to pursue other opportunities, and returned permanently in 2020. I am available to work from Monday to Sunday with flexible schedules. As you will see on my profile, I have experience working with clients suffering from various conditions, and I am always willing to learn new skills. I work with children (between the ages of 5 to 13 years), teenagers, adults, and the elderly. I have experience using all the moving and handling equipment, such as hoists and sliding sheets, and I also have experience working with catheters and colostomy bags. In addition, I am happy to undertake domestic work where needed, and I enjoy cooking. Even though the system has a one-hour limit for work allocations, I am available to take on work that exceeds one hour. I enjoy caring because I love interacting with people. Some call me a chatterbox because I genuinely enjoy getting to know the clients I work with, enabling me to provide a person-centred service. I believe I am a good carer based on the feedback I have consistently received from the clients I have interacted with; the majority have said they felt I truly cared about their wellbeing and appreciated the way I discussed things with them, especially when I ensured I did what they desired or preferred.
