I thoroughly enjoy being a carer and I am compassionate and client focused. I have been working in the care industry for 22 years and see this as my calling, not just a job. I hold a level 4 & 5 diploma in health and social care (Adults). When entering your home, I will assist you with the utmost dignity and respect, be led by you and put you at the centre of your care and support. These are key values I hold. I will work hard to meet your needs within your home and the wider community. I am a driver with a full clean licence. I am trustworthy, kind, a good listener and enjoy conversing with people. I am an excellent communicator, friendly and approachable with a professional manner. I do not take myself too seriously and where appropriate can bring a sense of humour. I am experienced with epilepsy, autism, learning disability, mental health, COPD and elderly care. I have worked in an epilepsy specialist service for 6 years providing round the clock care for people with severe and uncontrolled epilepsy. I have worked in an autism specialist service for 11 years providing support for adults with co morbidities such as mental health, diabetes, ADHD and learning difficulties. I bring a wealth of life experiences into my role and have assisted family members with illness and end-of-life Care. Everyone is unique, as is my approach, I am a fast learner and will quickly pick up on your individual needs and preferences. I can assist with personal care, nutrition, moving and transferring, cooking and domestic tasks, ordering, collecting and administering medication, shopping and days out. I can also carry out personal assistant tasks with you, such as form filling, paying bills, making phone calls, dealing with admin, attending formal meetings, liaising with other professionals involved in your care and support as appropriate. My hobbies are reading, dancing, DIY, gardening, travelling, current affairs, music from all genres/eras and singing. Excellent

Clare is so kind and patient with our Mum who has some complex needs. Mum was very nervous about having 'strangers' in the house but Clare is so lovely that Mum has quickly settled into a routine. Clare is reliable, professional and very competent which gives us complete peace of mind that Mum is in safe hands. So thankful to have found Clare.
