I am passionate about caring for others. I believe myself to be a dedicated and conscientious carer with 17 years in the care sector. I assist with all aspects of care needed to help achieve maximum independence. I assist clients with personal care including washing, dressing, personal hygiene and prompting of medication. I also assist with light household chores such as tiding, cleaning, laundry along with shopping, cooking and taking clients to hospital appointments or social activities. I was responsible for administering insulin, signed off by district nurse for type 1 diabetic client and checking sugar levels. I would describe myself as patient, respectful, honest person with an outgoing personality. Someone who is responsible, open minded and fun. I am well organised and a good listener and mature enough to work under pressure. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, going for long outdoor walks, going to the cinema and socialising with family and friends. I would describe my cooking skills as good I have a couple dishes I can make really well
