NE47QS 136117 I have always wanted to support and care for people. Having had to care for a family member made me aware of how vulnerable people can be without adequate care. I have been trained and worked for Careline home care. My experience involved supporting people with disabilities, providing palliative care and services to diabetic clients. Since last year I have worked in the laboratory within the NHS helping with the massive covid-19 tests. I am easy going and naturally get along with people. When not working you will find me relaxing before a TV, taking a walk or just reading stuff. I'll work with you to provide the best care you deserve to live that good life suited to you. This is because I enjoy assisting elderly, young and vulnerable people in areas they are not capable of because of my kindness and selfless nature. I enjoy listening to them and making them happy. I have had the opportunity to work with clients with celebral palsy, dementia and learning disabilities. My passion for care started in 2004- 2008, when I had to take care of my mum who was diagnosed of diabetes. This to an extent made me realise how passionate, caring, understanding and patient I could be with people. Since then I have found myself loving the health care sector. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

NE22 5HY 54219 Hi my name is Buyiswa, however I prefer to be called Blossom which everyone knows me by. I have 22 years of experience in the care industry, I am reliable and trustworthy. I am used to lone working but can work as a member of the team too, I have good interpersonal relationship skills and a good sense of humour. I am responsible, honest and hardworking, I am a dedicated and compassionate female carer, experienced in providing support for individuals with a range of care needs. I have experience in assisting clients with cognitive impairment. I am unable to drive, but can assist with personal care, bathing ,toileting and dressing and companionship. When working with a new client I prefer to have a 1 week settling in period so that we can get to know each other and then we can discuss the rotation period of anything from 2/3 weeks on 1 week off. When working with clients that require hoisting, each case will be evaluated individually and discussed with the client/clients family member to see if it will be a 1 or 2 carer job. My rates are negotiable depending on the level of care and dependency of the client . Travelling expenses-if travelling expense is £100 or below the client will pay for one way if travelling expense is more than £100 the client will pay for both ways. For bank holidays I will charge one and a half . As an ex nurse I will be able to care for clients holistically as I am used to observing clients and identifying any health problems and speaking to health care professionals As much as I don’t cook restaurant food but I can cook basic meals so clients can have well balanced meals. I am caring and friendly. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

I’m Joe. I have several years experience as a professional carer and additionally, I looked after both my parents for many years. I specialise in helping those with Dementia. I am based between London and the Nortb East of England, so am able to work throughout the UK. I usually work on a Live in basis, either full time on my own or job sharing, several weeks on/several off, alongside another carer. I can also work waking or sleeping nights. I am in the process of renewing my driving licence and have my own car. If you would like to discuss your needs, please message me. There is no commitment on your part. About me : I am well liked and caring person, working at a pace you are comfortable with. I’ll always be sensitive to your needs, appreciating that there will be times when you need hands on support and others where your privacy needs to be respected, my being in the background in case I am needed. In terms of duties, I am adept at the full range and carer performs : admin, washing/dressing, medications, cooking and cleaning, companionship and shopping. I enjoy tv, music, art, conversation and love gardening, so if that is important to you, you can be sure that, together, we will have your garden looking perfect I try to make each day interesting for my client. For example, looking at the news/current affairs/favourite tv programmes and talking about what is happening in the world and locality. Using board games, puzzles and pictures, reading, music and photo albums to stimulate laughter and happy memories. Clients often like to reminisce about the places they have lived and there are lots of clips on you tube, showing towns as they were and are now, which can be of interest. And for those able to get out and about, I enjoy accompanying clients on journeys, be this shopping, cafes, community or gardening centres, or arts and craft events, etc. Additionally, I’m aware of the importance of light exercise, to retain flexibility and muscular strength in old age, be this short supported walks. a tour of the garden, or even chair based movements. I am also very much aware of the need to keep loved ones informed at all times, of any development that may require their attention. And I take the responsibility very seriously of liaising with health professionals and documenting advice/decisions taken, particularly in regard to medications.. To this end, I usually keep a record sheet for each client, recording any important information/developments on a daily basis. Additionally, if a client were to experience a change in their condition (as often occurred with my own father), I am competent at reporting those to district nurses, gp and other health professionals, and in the necessary follow up. Overall, I am a calm head on old shoulders and am used to responsibility and decision making, having held senior management positions in my professional working life. But it is in retirement that I have found my true vocation, caring for others and I really enjoy being able to help people in their elder years.
