Live-in carer required for elderly gentleman with low level mixed dementia in London W2 for one or two weeks initially with a view to ongoing - will include some disturbance at night though only once or twice for directing to the loo and back to bed as he gets disorientated. He and his wife also needs cooking for, help with showering, selecting clothes although he dresses himself, exercise - particularly walks, over-seeing medication and getting out and about a bit to keep him stimulated and active. He loves classical music, good food, walks and good conversation. Immediate start. Honest, kind, considerate, reliable, hygienic, well-educated person needed to take him out for walks and stimulating activities. He needs help getting in to a healthy regime. Ideally carer would have a recent, enhanced DBS certificate and NVQ level 3 in care. job ammended 27/2/2020 £700 to £800 per full week depending on qualifications and experience, with 2 hours off per day. Or £100 to £120 per 24 hours.Possibly need only five days care per week, perhaps one day off during the week and one at the weekend depending on how the first few nights go.
