I am passionate about my job.
I find satisfaction through the simple act of bringing a smile to my client’s face or through enabling my client to enjoy their elderly life and seeing improvements in their wellbeing and lifestyle.
I get along well with my clients.
It is important for me to show a genuine interest in my client. Besides being a carer, it’s about building a relationship with my clients and gain their trust. After they will find it easier to be open with me and I will understand them better. It is not just job .I see it as I am going in to help someone who is facing a challenge and I can help them overcome it in some way.
I respect my client's decisions, wants, and needs.
My work involves promoting my clients’ independence and welfare. I ensure that my client’s voice is heard. I encourage my client to be involved in the community and live life of his own choosing. I help them in many ways and encourage independence at every stage.
