I used to be a PA but being a carer has given me the opportunity to make a difference to people's lives, to bring smiles to their faces and to provide much needed support which has left me feeling more fulfilled. I take pride in building a respectful and thoughtful relationship with my clients and their families. I have supported clients of all ages from 6 to 102 and with vastly varying needs. my priority is always to provide care and support to enable my clients to live the best version of their life possible. I have previously escorted clients on outings to shops, social engagements, medical appointments and recreational activities. I have supported clients with medicine regimes on numerous occasions including the checking and dispensing or medicine (from a blister pack) as well as prompting. I work to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients wherever we are and I also understand the importance of supporting their mental health and family / social connections.
