My most recent work is as PA to a lady who has early stage dementia where quality of life and a good relationship are a priority. I have also been involved in care for my own parents and prior to this I worked with adults with learning disabilities for Milestones Trust in Bristol. Whilst at Milestones I worked as 'Project Coordinator' and 'Activity Coordinator',. I also have experience of working with children (both main stream and LD's) when I ran my own business offering art and craft workshops. Along side work I practice meditation and have done so for approx 20 years! this gives me a calm disposition and enables me to offer empathy, and care to all whom I work with, I am a meditation trainer and work as a volunteer offering guidance to people who wish to learn meditation. My skills/ qualities are in being responsible, reliable, professional, person centred, good organisational and communication skills; I am friendly, enthusiastic and I care! I have a degree in Humanities where i specialized in sociology and up to date training in care standards, I hold a current, clean driving license. I work in a person centred way with kindness and enjoy building a good relationship with clients.

Gaye has supported mum every step of the way particularly dealing with a nasty fall and transitioning to and from care homes. Helping with mindfulness to walk and exercises. We really appreciate the care given to mum.

Gaye was a godsend when she found mum after a bad fall keeping mum calm and sorting everything. Since mum has been out of hospital her focus on mindfulness when walking is clearly improving mum’s balance and safety. Goes beyond what is expected.
