I am a care worker since 2016 and since that time I live in the UK. I have undertaken a wide variety of cases including Dementia, Parkinson, Down Syndrome, Autism, Asparger Syndrome, Epilepsy, Stroke, Brain Injuries, and Mental Health. I am fully qualified to hoist and transfer clients. I also can take clients outside using a wheelchair. I was working with people of different ages, from children to old people. I have been working both as a live-in and live-out carer as well as nightshifts. I have a good working knowledge of the Care Quality Commission’s regulatory framework, the Health and Social Care Act, and health and safety relevant to work. I have been professionally trained before taking care of each specific case. I have undertaken a wide range of training courses in addition to professional qualifications, continually updating my knowledge and improving my skills. I am implementing hygiene regulations and precautions to combat the risk of coronavirus spreading in and out of my workplace. I can carry out food preparation, running errands, personal care, administer medication, making exercises (instructed by OT). I am a good team worker, always punctual, and understanding the importance of providing information about the client’s state. I am flexible in working with varied shift patterns. I am interested in the wellbeing, psychology, art, sport, and sciences (professionally I am a biophysicist and bioinformatitian). My native language is Polish but my English is fluent as I use it on an academic level. Apart from that, I have been learning German, French, Spanish. I am also experienced in animal care and have no problem with taking care of pets. I am a non-smoker. I have a valid driving licence.
