I have experience in domiciliary care and in a care home environment. I have completed my care certificate and have almost completed my NVQ level 3 in health and social care. Previously I have worked in office environments, so I can assist with admin tasks and organisation. My transition into care started in 2022 when my nan was diagnosed with dementia. I have two teenage boys who are great fun to be around, so in my spare time we get outdoors as much as possible. I enjoy the outdoors, I’m always happy to support a client if they would like to go out, to a park, to the shops, or for a walk. I understand the importance of getting to know each person on an individual basis, that everyone wants their life to be theirs, and to be supported by someone who shows dignity and respect. Communication and being responsive and reliable are attributes I like to show, I have found that being clear, honest, and transparent help me quickly build relationships with the people I support.
