I have a Care Certificate covering all mandatory training such as First Aid, Health & Safety, End of Life, Medications, and Safeguarding. I'm currently studying for my NVQ Level 3 in Care. I also previously worked as a Chef/Cook in a Care Home and hold an NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality. I have experience of being employed as a direct Carer with individual clients (fully insured), as well as working in both Care Home and Managed Residential Care settings. My experience of caring includes working with early and late dementia patients, those with Parkinson's, wheelchair bound, and stroke patients, providing personal care, companionship, changing catheter bags, administering medications, food prep and cooking and arranging and attending appointments/activities/shopping. I have a warm, friendly, engaging personality and I always work with empathy and consideration, providing individual and personalised care, putting the client's needs first, and always aiming to improve their quality of life, comfort and enjoyment.
