I am a mature British South African having grown up in South Africa. I have been living permanently in England since 2000. I have a pharmacology background studying in South Africa and when arriving in England I went into the NHS as a medical secretary PA. I worked 7 years in private and NHS hospitals, clinics and GP practices, covering very many medical disciplines including cardiology and oncology to name a few. I moved to Cornwall in 2007 and started caring in 2009 to complete my NVQ in Health and Social Care and have been a live-in carer since 2010. I am willing with a can-do attitude, trustworthy and reliable, very well organised and I enjoy working as a live-in carer giving undivided client centred attention. I have one grown up daughter and we both live in Cornwall. I enjoy going for walks in forests or coastal paths, visiting gardens and homes. I love birdwatching on my walks. I love cooking and baking but nothing fancy or exotic. I am proficient in cooking a vegetarian diet if needs be too.
