I am hard working individual and looking for challenge in my life. I am very friendly, responsible and empathetic person, who loves helping elderly people. I have worked with people with dementia, early and late stage, Alzheimer, cancer, end of life and stroke patients. I have had a previous client that I have cared for up to the age of 104, I cared for this client in their own home until they passed away, this was a great privilege to have been able to do this. I am experienced with hosting and bedridden patients. My duties included assisting with personal care, moving, toileting, preparing meals. I am very well trained. I am a good listener. I also love animals, especially dogs and cats and I have worked with many clients that have had pets in there homes. I am currently looking for regular long term clients, I prefer to have a settling in period of 2 weeks after this time I then discuss with my client/family members the period of care I am happy to deliver. I normally work longer periods of care of 6/8 weeks on 2/3 weeks off. I am happy to travel throughout the UK, travelling expenses will be charged if travelling over 50 miles. I also prefer to have my 2 hour break each day where possible.
