I have a nursing background and over 20 years in the Social Care Industry. I did my 3 years nursing diploma at Oxford Brookes University from 2003 to 2007. I have worked in both Residential and Nursing Homes caring for the Elderly with strokes, dementia, terminally ill and end of life. I have clinical skills such as care of the catheter, stoma care, tracheostomy care, and basic observations. I quite enjoy client escorts to hospital, shopping and supporting with Activities of Daily Living e.g. bingo, knitting and playing cards and puzzles. I also like cooking meals with fresh food. I like house cleaning and ironing. I provide Person Centred Care whereby my clients have to run and control their care and I am always there to give them the support and care they need. I also enjoy holiday escorts with my clients. I am very flexible and reliable. I have very good communication in English. Above all nursing and caring are the two jobs at the centre of my Heart.
