I am currently looking for a role as a live in carer where I am hoping to acquire a challenging and rewarding environment where i would be able to utilise my existing skills and knowledge with the opportunity of continuous professional development. I received excellent references from my previous employments and am hoping to use these skills within my social worker role. I am an excellent team player who has many transferable skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment with ease. I also have a full and current enhanced CRB. I have worked with adults that have learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental disorders and aging adults for a long time and i have enjoyed working with them. This work has involved assisting service users who have challenging behaviours to get ready to start the day and also assisting doing things around the house. As a live in worker, i know how to work as a team which relies upon clear communication and a willingness to work within the guidelines. I understand the principles of equal opportunity offering each individual respect, dignity and the ability to express themselves.
