My work experience includes working as a Senior Speech & Language Therapy Assistant within a Hospital setting & Stroke rehabilitation. In 2018 I received a NHS 'runner up' award for the category Care & Compassion. In the hospital I was a Dementia Champion and had regular training with the specialist Dementia nurse. I have also worked as a Carer in a dementia residental home providing all aspects of care including incontinence & personal care. At the Stroke Rehabilitation alongside my normal duties of therapy sessions I ran Art groups and wellbeing classes. I have also worked as a support worker for people with Learning Disabilities and Mental health conditions I supported with everyday tasks, companionship/befriending, food preparation, personal care and managing challenging behaviour. My voluntary experience includes working with the Homeless community, within a Hospice & with older people. I have recently moved to the area with my husband & I am a new mum of a beautiful baby girl. So I am looking for flexibility and suitable hours around my home life and can return to the job I love doing. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, attending and helping in my local church and with charities, doing Arts & Crafts, cooking. Current availability is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Evenings & all day Saturday (3 - 12 hours per shift) If walking distance I'm more than happy to do 1-2 hour per shift, Many thanks Chelsea
