Hiya, I am registered with the National Association of Care & Support Workers, Im qualified in First Response & Pre-Hospital Emergency Care to level 4 with additional Clinical Training and Anatomy & Physiology CPD. I am studying a MCAP accredited diploma in counselling. To date I have a module in PTSD & Trauma, level 4 certificate in working with Children & Adolescents and First Aid for Mental health. I started my care path as a cycle manager of a charity club in 2017, were I was required to have a certificate in advanced First Aid. We took clients from children, rehabilitation post surgery or injury, to elderly groups. Iâd administer care and first aid as necessary. Since then I have stayed up-to date in First Aid in the workplace including handling and lifting, food safety and first aid in work. For the past year I have been a School Nurse within the EA, treating wounds, special-needs pupil treatment, medication administration (including diabetes) prescriptions, incontenance, Cochlear implant provision and post surgery treatment. I also trained staff in First Aid including CPR, AED, anaphylaxis, emergency asthma inhaler, First Aid at work and medication precautions. In my spare time I enjoy continuing my studies, mountain biking, swimming and unwinding in a coffee shop with a book or catching up with friends.
