I have worked with verbal and non-verbal clients and treat everyone with the same respect I would want my parents/family member to be treated with. I have cared for people with dementia, in a wheelchair, with a catheter, who peg/button fed, who needs to be suctioned, I have done male and female personal care etc. I am a very family oriented person, I have 3 children, my eldest who is 18 is autistic so although everyone is different I do have many years experience with autism. I love animals and would be perfectly happy to work in a home where there are friendly animals. One of my hobbies is photography, particularly family photography, catching moments that can be cherished for many years. I offer day time care, night time care and short term live in work. If you would like to contact me about your care requirements please feel free to do so. I look forward to speaking with you soon. SO31 4QZ 191451 I have over 15 years experience of working in the Care Sector, from providing care and cover, to management and strategic leadership responsibilities. Having worked with a number of organisations and trained them and their staff to meet the required care standards, I feel privileged to have worked with so many different people to help them live comfortably and overcome challenges. Working with younger people, or older people is incredibly rewarding and has allowed me to use my calm approach to support people to overcome difficulties. Able to use own initiative, I also work well in a team. For me it is truly an honour to be in a position of responsibility, to work with people who need a little extra help and try to make a difference. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"4, 5, 3"}

PO7 8JE 258762 Hello, I'm Amanda. I've worked as live-in Carer in 11 placements over the past two 2 years, caring for people with complex conditions including Dementia, Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy, Spinal injury, Incontinence, and Clinical Deafness. I also assisted in a dual-carer placement with end-of-life care of a gentleman before he sadly passed away at home. Before being a Carer I was a Yoga and Pilates practitioner, helping clients individually, many of whom were over 70 and suffering with pain or reduced mobility due to trauma or simple wear and tear on the joints. I've also worked with children and young adults, including a young woman who was a wheelchair user. As a Carer, I plan to continue with live-in care, and look forward to travelling to different parts of the UK for work. I can assist with personal care, medication, hygiene, food preparation, and household administration. I am patient, empathetic, and a good listener, and comfortable in the role of companion. Where possible, I like to encourage my clients to stay active, even just a short walk in the garden, as I believe in the power of movement and nature. I also believe in the power of humour and encourage this where I can. I would love to hear from you. Please get in touch if you feel I could help. 1 0 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

SO15 5NF 3843 I've worked as a Care assistant for 18 years, and I love being a carer, caring is something I grew up doing looking after my grandmother. My passion is to get out there and make a difference to someone's life, by providing a proper dignified care. My aim is to get to know the person I will be helping as communication is the key to get to understand the needs of the person. I'm flexible on my working day or night shifts or sleep ins. My hobbies are cooking, walking, ,gardening and travelling. The most important part as a carer is to listen and understand the needs of the person, as much as communicating with the family, also to respect the privacy, dignity and choices and treat every individuals differently by respecting their values. Its always my pleasure to see changes when I'm providing care to individuals as that gives me strength and hope that anything is possible. I always encourage the person I'm helping to live independently as much as they can by supporting them to achieve that. I happy to travel for live in jobs within 100 miles radius as long as traveling expenses are covered 1 way by my clients. For live in clients my rates may increase or decrease depending on the clients condition and what is required of me. I am happy to care for couples my live in rate would be increased by 20%. For day and night shifts I am looking for regular clients of 6/12 hour shifts, unfortunately I would be unable to deliver hourly visits at this time. Looking forward to working with you and I hope my profile will attract someone out there.
