I keep myself motivate and always have a good attitude. I did additional studies in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People’s Service which brought me more experience in the sector. I also promoted numerous changes and improvements to my client’s life, by introducing menu plans, food intake, health charts, observation charts, repositioning charts etc. I had the ability to think on my feet to be able to prioritise tasks, but also ensure others tasks are covered. I have always shown great flexibility to meet the needs of the client, sometimes at short notice which shows the unpredictability of managing vulnerable clients. I have a good understanding regarding the management of vulnerable adults, safeguarding policy, but also issues surrounding mental capacity. I understand the importance of working alongside their families who also requires to be well supported as much as the customers involved in the care. Equally, I have developed acute sensitivity towards subtle changes in a person’s behaviour or presentation that may indicate all is not well.
