SO14 6RB 251340 Hi, my name Kai shortened from my first name also known as Oscar "nicknamed after the greatest Oscar Wilde by grandad". I have worked in administration and as a community health worker back home, before going into care work, because I'm loving, caring and passionate about helping the vulnerable within the society live a fulfilling life as everyone else. I have completed all the necessary trainings and refresher including statutory and mandatory certificate, medication administration, manual handling, and dementia. I've worked in the health and social care industry for two years plus within the most if not all different care settings, with clients who got dementia, parkinsons, alzheimers, and stroke etc. I've obtained vast amount of knowledge, skills and experience over the years, which equipped me with the advantages of handling difficult situations or encounters with calm and patience. I'm open to learning new skills. Acquired vast knowledge of adhering to individual care plans and upholding individuals' preferences, taste, and needs/wants. Most significantly, to be patient while rendering my assistance, and treating clients with dignity and respect. I like gardening, reading exclusively novels, puzzles, and jigsaws games. I am looking for regular live-in work and happy to cover sleep-in nights on my days off. I'm an average cooker, can carry out all personal care needs, and all household duties "laundry, cleaning, and gardening" keeping house intact free hazardous objects. I'm happy to assist with clients pets. Social interaction "companionship" with clients, like accompanying them for coffee outings. As a driver and a vehicle owner, I'm willing to transport clients to appointments given that the client have insured me to drive their vehicle with business insurance or can cover business insurance on my vehicle. Happy to cover all over UK or or Manchester areas got family in Manchester. Transport charges to be covered by clients. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"4, 5, 3"}

I am able to work across the mainland UK within 3 week cycles of availability, I provide live-in, overnight care but not hourly. I'd describe myself as an incidental, yet qualified carer, my forte is the facilitative end of the care spectrum, I consequently find myself helping people tailor care packages, petition for funding, find resources etc, as much as myself delivering care. I have 20 years of direct client/patient work experience across disability, rehabilitation, mental health, therapy and treatment services and my care experience has spanned young adults to end of life clients. I am a member of The National Association of Care and Support Workers and follow their national code, as a grounded, principled way of working: Working with Skill & Competence A Commitment to Personal Growth & Development Working with Integrity & Respect for the Law A Commitment to Respect & Dignity I have: • A positive, mindful and kind nature • Dedication to the job • An understanding that everyone is different, hence with different care needs • Patience • Punctuality • Good conversational and communication skills • Initiative • Good listening skills • Ability to follow direction • Full driving licence – clear DBS A host of additional people and health and care related skills around planning, delivery of care and supporting/motivating clients. • Help with personal care tasks including; washing, dressing, toileting, changing pads • Preparing meals/Feeding • Dispensing medication • Household tasks such as cleaning, laundry or gardening • Help with shopping • Assistance to attend college or work • Driving (a wide range of adapated vehicles, I persionally own/drive a 5 tonne wav) • Helping a person to participate in hobbies or holidays. • Assisting with paying bills or other household management • Helping gain access to a doctor, dentist or hospital appointment • Random facilitation - e.g. configuring a new computer or mobility aid I also produce immersive media (vr) and have projects in the health and disabilities/assistive technology fields, ongoing direct client work directly informs this. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"4, 5"}

PO7 8JE 258762 Hello, I'm Amanda. Over the past three years I've worked as a live-in Carer in a number of placements in the UK, caring for people with complex conditions including Stroke, Dementia, Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy, Spinal injury, Incontinence, and Clinical Deafness. I also assisted in a dual-carer placement with end-of-life care of a gentleman before he sadly passed away at home. Before being a Carer I was a Yoga and Pilates practitioner, helping clients individually, many of whom were over 70 and suffering with pain or reduced mobility due to trauma or simple wear and tear on the joints. I've also worked with children and young adults, including a young woman who was a wheelchair user. As a Carer, I plan to continue with live-in care, and look forward to travelling to different parts of the UK for work. I can assist with personal care, medication, hygiene, food preparation, and household administration. I am patient, empathetic, and a good listener, and comfortable in the role of companion. Where possible, I like to encourage my clients to stay active, even just a short walk in the garden, as I believe in the power of movement and nature. I also believe in the power of humour and encourage this where I can. I would love to hear from you. Please get in touch if you feel I could help. 0 0 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}
